  1. thanks for that pete sail will be at least a metre shorter in the luff than the original, perhaps a bit short ??? and the foot is too long and im pretty sure i have no boom length to play with, even just 100mm will remeasure and get back to you thanks again

  5. $1500 for f18 sail new second-hand f18 hobie[sx] 18 or even prindle 18/19 maybe?? "peak sails" new about f18 $650/800 new they used to have offices in nsw, rang but they do not operate there now???

  8. you are definitely right about practical operation practice rights always seem to go ok but in conditions when you actually go over, another matter in high winds hard enough to get boat around into wind and my boat another two foot longer :( have had same prob slipping off hull as boat comes up just sustaining body weight against boat long enough a struggle particularly at sixth or tenth attempt crew an answer but i got no friends thanks for all the help and pics will post when i give it a test

  10. one is a pic of side attachment, one of pole in righting position added another spectra line to stop pole going over 90 degrees forward and this also helps to close works on land ? weakest point is forward attachment to front beam[spin pole beak ??]

  13. bloody good work pirate looks very efficient and not too difficult to fit thank you for going to such trouble and detail i have mast float[5l plastic bottle] ugly but works
