  4. Loose Change, your price is more expensive than buying from BWA themselves. Also, do you offer the same return policy/warranty as BWA?
  5. CTMD, can you elaborate a bit on the location of that ad for the balloon wheels? I had a look through the for sale page and also in the forum and couldn't see it. Thanks.
  6. Ok, looks like I stirred up a bit of action. I'm in Melbourne Robbie. How do you guys rate the various wheels for performance on the sand. I'm getting old and don't want to exert myself any more than I have to. - Rubber/pneumatic - Orange wheels (easy roller) - Yellow wheels Any other considerations between wheel types eg. resistance to punctures? Madaboutcats, keen to bid on your wheels but I fear that transport to melbourne will put me at a disadvantage to Robbie. Can you post some pics of your wheel sets? I have a set of rollers with my boat but the wheels are the slimmer, rubber type
  7. Ah thanks. $400 looks a little much but not sure what they cost new...
  8. I can only see 1 set for sale on Gumtree, the $100 set. Where is the $400 set?
  9. I'm looking for a set of beach rollers for my Taipan 4.9 if anyone has a set for sale. What are the best kind these days, the hard plastic ones or the soft rubber ones?
  10. I'm looking for a glass/kevlar 4.9 under $9k, everything included. Will sail sloop rigged. Not sure what's involved in converting a cat-rigged boat. Hoping to buy pre xmas. Paul (Brighton VIC) 0411 611 745

  12. Hi there, just wondering if anyone has or knows of a 5.0 that isn't being used over the upcoming long weekend that would consider renting to me. I've been out of cat sailing for many years (ex 5.8 sailor) but am keen to get back into it now my kids are big enough to sail with me. We are camping at Balnarring VIC over the long weekend and I hoped to be able to rent an unused boat at a reasonable price and with any necessary guarantees etc. I'm also looking at the Taipan 4.9 as well and I hope to get a chance to sail both boats at some point soon. I'm monitoring this thread so just reply if y

I've been out of cat sailing for many years (ex 5.8 sailor) but am keen to get back into it now my kids are big enough to sail with me. The 4.9 caught my eye as a great boat for a young family, the 5.8 is much too big. 14. As a cat sailor who's been without a boat for some time, I was pretty excited about discovering Virtual Skipper, an absolutely amazing regatta simulator that puts you on the water, in fully rendered locations around the world and racing against other virtual skippers like yourself. Check out Virtual Skipper here: http://www.virtualskipper-game.com/en/ Check out the Gallery to see what it really looks like while you're racing, the graphics are truly unbelievable. You can also view video footage from the recent Australian Championships: YouTube compresses the footage pretty heavily unfor
