  1. The Fifth annual WinterBash regatta hosted by Humpybong Yacht Club attracted 151 boats last weekend .. We had 121 boats registered by friday morning and more registrations were made on both days of the event. Competitors came from Gladstone to Coffs Harbour, Drizzle interspersed with showers on Saturday didn't put as damper on the highly competitive three races held but Sunday was sunny with strengthening easterly winds to provide a beam fast ride for the divisions talking part in the marathon from Woody Point south to Sandgate, north to Scarborough and return to Woody point pier.

The grommets holding the hiking straps have pulled out of the mesh in the middle of the tramp on one side of my Weta trimaran and I need to add a patch of mesh material to cover the holes but also because I want to change the strap system to more like the H16/H14. With the strap stitched at one end to the tramp edge, through a webbing loop in the centre of the tramp, and then a loop in the webbing at the other end so a line can be fed through the loop and tied off underneath the tramp allowing the length to be adjusted.   7. On 27th May I'm heading from Sydney to the Gold Coast towing my Weta 4.4 Trimaran - returning on 15th June.   8. OK so it's not a cat but it does have more than one hull It’s official, Easter Race Day is Sunday 20/4/14. Everyone is welcome, as this is just a social race day, please be warned no prizes or trophy’s will be awarded and there is no entry fees.
