nacra-maricat australia Posted August 9, 2005 Report Share Posted August 9, 2005 Hi All boats in Queensland. The Nacra assocation is holding its annual King of the Lake regatta at Lake Cootharaba . It is held on the 20th and 21st of August . The first race starts no earlier than 12.30 with briefing at 11.30. Three races to be sailed on Saturday. With 2 on Sunday at 11.00am. Followed by presentation soon after. This is a great regatta for newcomers with the lake providing good winds yet flat water. There is good camping available as well as many houses and units to rent nearby. Noosa is just 15minutes drive away. Hope to see you all there.
