nacra-maricat australia
Not many options to add. As boat comes standard with 10-1 downhaul, mast spanner,8-1 Harken mainsheet,RCB traveller car, adjustable diamond wires, adjustable spreaders, adjustable kick up rudders. The only thing as an option is Footstraps for $30 and carbon hiking stix for an extra $130. Boat comes with all things needed to sail and win. HooD
I would get the mainsheet block upgraded to one of these: http://www.harkenstore.com/uniface.urd/scpdinw1.ShowProd?409Z56LC82NB6 so much better than the standard harken ratchet blocks. Leapin Leroy
Sorry to burst the bubble, but it comes with a better set up to start with... just get on it and go for it!!!!! HooD
pardon? that is the most expensive/best harken make. if your going to pay 3/4 of the price of the best, well you may as well aye. awesome block, ratchet uphill, free rolling down, best of both worlds. zeflyguy
I have 2 sails for my 16 one with a jam cleat attached and my older sail with a Ronstan RF5 Swivel Clam cleat attached to the boomless traveler. The RF5 system is much better.... as it can be adjusted while out on the edge of the hull as apposed to reaching over to the sail which moves your weight off the hull while you play around with a jam cleat. HooD
I supose a clew board is out of the question? also is there an option for fiberfoam battens?
warbird
I have done the rf5 thing on my 14 sq and added a cheek block and shock cord. Wondeful response and perfect placement every time. Factory on that is silly as is not changing the size of the twisted at the halyard ring.
