The current forum emails all posts to my email address though and you can post to the forum via email. It also allows you to post attachments. Is this possible with this forum? The version of UBB that is used by the current international F16HP forum ( http://www.catsailor.com/forums/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=Fleet45 ) also displays the number of replys in a particular thread that you haven't yet read - if you are a registered user. HooD Posted May 9, 2002 Report Share Posted May 9, 2002 its pretty easy really. because this forum has HTML enabled (although in the long run, that will probably be disabled as it is prone to exploitation) you can use either HTLM code or the UBB code to place images. UBB is simpler, so we will go with that. first thing you have to do is either find an image on another website you want to show, or take a picture you already have and put it onto your own personal webspace (you should have some for signing up with your internet provider) from either of these place you will get an address of the picture e.g. http://www.netspace.net.au/~golded/images/taipan.gif which is the capsizing taipan all you have to do is put [img^] [/img^](take out the ^'s) on either side of the adress and up should come your pic.
