mattaipan
After what seems like forever, my Taipan 4.9 is finally finished and will hit the water in a fortnight, or if I have my way, one week. Starting building a couple years ago, but work always got in the way, and took me away. But a change of jobs had helped over the last months, and journey is almost complete. Can't wait for the first sail. Will try and post a photo taken today with the mast up for the first time, will finish putting the rest of the fittings on this week. phil_taipan117
Well done Matt. I look forward to the photos. Can't be too many new taipans hitting the water these days. Needless to say you will have taken out insurance before she leaves your yard.
sam257
Hi Phil Just to correct you 5 brand new 4.9s have just hit the water. They where built by the AHPC factory. From what I have heard the new owners are over the moon with the boats. You should check out the web site www.taipan.asn.au or www.ahpc.com.au Sam
