ZAX Posted August 2, 2005 Author Report Share Posted August 2, 2005 I still have to check this with the committee but would like to suggest we go with Mannering Park for the this years Nationals and go with Tanilba bay for next years Nationals so people have time to plan for the change in dates. Is that possible for Tanilba sailors? We have a problem that some some of the canberra sailors will not be able to sail if we have it at Tanilba this year with changed dates. ZAX Posted August 3, 2005 Author Report Share Posted August 3, 2005 The committee is supportive of having the event at Mannering Park this time and would hope Tanilba agree to host the Nationals in 2007? We are also hopeful for Toukley to host the State Titles next Easter. So, it's on for Mannering Park in 2006. A notice of race will be issues shortly. Look forward to see everyone there and remember there is a 14 foot Catamaran regatta at Mannering Park not too far off for those that would like to practice at the venue. Cheers ! John. ZAX Posted August 4, 2005 Author Report Share Posted August 4, 2005 Revolution, We are considering by having the Nationals at Tanilba next year it would give people enough time to reschedule holidays etc. to make the dates. It is just a suggestion and still open for discussion, most people wanted to have a Nationals at Tanilba apart from the problem with dates.
