Kurnell will also make a very strong showing as usual. Qenos ANZAC Day Regatta Yarra Bay 16’ Skiff Sailing Club will hold its Annual Regatta on ANZAC Day Tuesday 25th April 2006 • All Catamaran, Skiff and Dinghy Classes are welcome to compete. Racing is off yardstick. • The entry fee is only $5 per sailor and prizes will be awarded to place getters in all classes of five or more boats. • All competitors will be entered into a draw for a Colour T.V. to be drawn at the after the race. An ANZAC Day Memorial Service will be held on the grass near the flag pole before sailing at 9 am. All are welcome to attend. Posted: Thu Apr 13, 2006 5:28 pm Post subject: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Notice of Race RULES All races shall be governed by the ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing 2005-2008, the AYF prescriptions and safety regulations and the rules of each class of craft. ORGANISING The organising authority is the Race Committee of Yarra Bay 16’ Sailing Club. The Race Committee shall have the power to add additional persons for specific purposes. ELIGIBILITY The Regatta is open to all multihull, dinghy and skiff classes. All races will be conducted under the VYC yardstick (or other suitable yardstick if no VYC yardstick is available on the day). Five or more craft of one class will constitute a separate race. STARTING TIMES Skyrider Class Starting Signal not before 10:30 a.m. Junior Classes (Sabots, Lasers, Ants etc) Starting Signal not before 11:30 a.m. Senior Classes (Skiffs, Hobies, Nacra, F18 etc) Starting Signal not before 12:30 p.m. Separate starts may be arranged for some classes depending on the number of starters. This will be announced at the pre-race briefing. ENTRIES Beach entries will be accepted. There is no Entry Fee for Skyriders. All others Classes will have a $5 entry fee per sailor. All competitors go into the draw for a colour TV. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS Sailing Instructions will be available at the registration desk on the race day. PRESENTATION Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each class and to some minor places depending on the number of starters in each class.
