Pete
The trampoline is starting to pull out of the track quite often. There is a long crack in the glass along the channel. This crack does not leak at the moment. I am thinking of fixing the crack and replacing the aloy strip with caravan annex track. Couple of questions: who stocks the track, and is it simply riveted on like the standard alloy track? Can someone please post some photos of the annex track in place. knobblyoldjimbo
The caravan track is rivetted on with the track facing up. Darcy used the same holes and you'll need long (aluminium) rivets. The greatest difficulty I has was finding something the right size to put in the tramp to stop it coming out. The original red poly line was too thick. I ended up firstly with three core electric flex (nearly exactly 7mm) and then replaced it (because it looked odd with three coloured wires sticking out!) with air hose from Clarkes Rubber that was also 7mm (not 8mm that's too thick). You will need to seal any cracks first.
skypa
I had the same problem with my Mk1. I ended up getting the new improved tracks fitted by Brisbane Cat Centre.
Pointed Reply
Another option is to fix the hulls and replace the existing track. Remove the strip and grind out any cracks. Fill the crack and all the rivet holes and build back up to the original shape. Sand and file to a smooth finish. Redrill and rivet back into place and it will look just like new. And if done properly it will not leak.
