knobblyoldjimbo
if seabreeze (a week out) is anything to go by it'll just be cloudy with dropping breeze but thankfully it isn't showing rain, I've had quite enough of this wet stuff, I've three 22,000 litre tanks that are now full. Long period of dry sun please!

Pointed Reply
In total 21 14ft cats sailed at Toukley, in generally very pleasant conditions. 12 Maricats, 4 Windies, 3 PTs, a Hobie 14 and a Narca 4.5. Maricats filled the first 5 places. "Pointed Reply", sailing super sloop, managed to come first in the 6 race series, the cats of James Wearing and Brenton 2nd and 3rd, Phil "Bulldozer" Johnson 4th and Humungus Mick 5th. Full results are on the Toukley Sailing Club website. James and Brenton were using their brand new Eastwind mains and they looked and went very well. Mick and Jason were having their first serious runs as super sloop. Unfortunately Sweet 16 suffered some damage on Sunday and had to retire for the weekend. Jason finished the weekend as crew on a Hobie 18. There were 4 different scratch winners with Darcy on a Windy with 2 wins, 1 to Brenton, 2 to Pointed Reply and the strong wind race was won by Mick. Zac, (a Maricat sailer in training), successfully completed 5 races on his Arafura Cadet to take out 3rd place in the junior division.
darcy1945
The Brass Monkey was a blast, I enjoyed sailing the Windy but was envious of the competition enjoyed by the Mari's, particularly the cat rigs. Jimbos new sail was a quantum leap and he now has boat speed and height with the best. Geoff ditto , just has to pick the right way to go more often. Brenton also is pleased with his new sail (Check the results). There was nobody out the back door with close racing across the 14 fleet, any mistake was costly and picking the wind was paramount. All in all a great W/end, well run, good weather at a great venue. P.S. have started on my Mari, all new gear on reasonable Mk2 hulls.
