Rob Brown
New to this sport. Just bought an old windrush for myself and the kids, well mostly myself, and it seens to be missing a part to hold the bottom of the main to the mast. Any ideas what it should look like, as the previous owner had it tied around the mast with rope. I dont think this is what you are supposed to do. I am fairly handy at making bits but I need to know if it has a name and what it does. A picture would be of great help.
TornadoSport260
The gooseneck?? The gooseneck on a Windrush 14ft is a "car" the slots into the lower sail track on the mast and has a swivelling horizontal pin which fits into the front casting on the boom. For further Windrush 14ft inquiries visit http://windrushnsw.tripd.com and contact Warren Pfeffer his contact details are listed on this official site.
