iOrion 11
Hey guys, I just got a quote for insurance from Club Marine and because my boat is older than 20 years they need me to get some kind of condition inspection? Where can I do this in Sydney? Cheers
glider 0
Contact Aon Insurance. Hi there, get in contact with AON insurance. I was referred to them by a clubmate after similar ridiculous requests from other insurers. They are also very competitively priced, I found about 30% less than anyone else. As other clubmates have found out, they also come through with the goods when you have to make a claim. I wouldn't bother with the 20 year bizzo, just tell them what they want to hear, i.e 15. Do get racing risk extension cover if you are going to be racing. Hope this helps.

I told them were to go...
TornadoSport260 1
Then again. I just did a dummy on their site and it said the same thing. They may have changed policy... Ring the next insurer... O i dummied my own boat with them and it said it had to be cited by a valuer...
Bridgehugger 1
Yeah I had the same problem but I did a bit of a search and found Tudor Insurance in Melbourne which is underwritten by QBE doesn't have a servey required. Phone number is 0397073033
iOrion 11
Thanks, guys. CM came to the party right before closing time on Friday. They still wanted photos so it was lucky for me that I actually had a couple.
