humungus2
So, can I get an update on where the others are on at. We have had Mannering Park. Camberra, I think Port Kembla is next. Whats after that.
tonyquoll
The NSW 14foot cat traveller series includes: • 8 & 9 October: Mannering Park Amateur Sailing Club’s 14' Cat Regatta. • 22 & 23 October, YMCA Sailing Club’s ACT Multihull Championships. • 27 & 28 November: Port Kembla Sailing Club’s Kembla Klassic. • 11 & 12 February: Koonawarra Bay Sailing Club’s 14' Cat Regatta. • 10 & 11 March: Wallagoot Lake Boat Club’s Regatta. • 6th May: Bayview Yacht Racing Association’s Peter Loft Marathon. Slight problems at the moment: - I picked up the pile of Entry Forms off the counter at YMCA. Now I see I have 13 blank forms and not the 7 that were filled out. Does anyone else have them? - YMCA have just emailed me the full results, which reveal they used YV yardsticks; not Koonawarra. Possibly I can enter the data into "Sailwave" and crank out a new set of overall results. humungus2
I am still deciding if I go cat rigged or sloop. Long legs = hard work. Might lose a bit of weight and use the trap.
korwich
I am still deciding if I go cat rigged or sloop. Long legs = hard work. Might lose a bit of weight and use the trap. I've seen stainless steel wire up to 16mm dia at one of the industrial rigging shops in Newy Mick maybe you just need something like that to hold your weight, and a telly pole for a mast. humungus2
Like Michael said, how did you get in B division? When I was asked the question on the form it was an easy desition. You must have a sad lack of confidence.
TornadoSport260
I was actually referring to myself but how did he end up down there as well...
tonyquoll
Sorry; I've now actually looked at the Entry Forms, re-sorted the Divisions and processed again (edited above).

tonyquoll
Problem: some skippers do not want to participate in the series, and wish to be removed from the results. - the proper process would involve shortening the list of entrants race by race, re-calculating each regattas overall results, and then using these for the series. - that's a bit much work! - it would be easier to just extract some results from each regattas overall results sheet. But in the case of Mannering Park, this does change the overall winner. - the Entry Forms have so far been a hassle. If we just include everyone we can abandon them. How to proceed?
