darcy1945
FRESH WATER, my old mari will have even less freeboard, it will be like putting a sail on a submarine.

Emmessee
It is a sensational place to sail. Can blow a gale and be as flat as a tack. I remember a H14 sailing there and it basically was underwater the entire time. He still had a blast. Was the same sailing at Oberon. Loved it. Darcy...... Did you get my message? humungus2
I suspect it will be even better than Camberra. Had a great time there and will have a better time here. It was good just to be able to pack the boat up without haveing to wash it More drinking time.
gary
Grahamstown Visit This day started as a Speers Point Club visit last year. We had a great afternoon, the locals were friendly, the water is fresh, acres of grass to rig on, good breeze and a BBQ after the race. Our members insisted that we make it an annual visit. It is not a regatta though, just a club race, at a unique venue. Gary.
korwich
Did this go ahead, I was waiting to hear more about it, but ,,,,,,,. I was keen to go for a sail on the dam.
Remo
Yep, it went ahead and a good day had by all i think. Great location and plenty of space to rig. The dam looks different once your on it. I drive Richardson Rd every day to work, but i was still disorientated sailing on it... Maybe thats just me!! Be back next year.
