knobblyoldjimbo Posted November 7, 2011 Report Share Posted November 7, 2011 I spoke to Darcy this afternoon on an unrelated issue and since he was off to wallow in the pool - lucky bugger!! I thought I'd post this here rather than call again. On Saturday he noticed that the rivets on the hounds fitting were looking a bit shabby, that they were alum not monel and I should fix it soon. So I looked at home for my box of monel rivets and of course they're nowhere to be seen (not surprising given the state or (dis)organisation of my shipping container/workshop/store). I did find some stainless rivets though. If I use enough duralac on the fitting would s/s be ok? Anyone? KO Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
