What does matter is: 1. hull weight (if you're going to race - there seems to be quite a variation) 2. whether the sail is a 'modern' shape (allowing for greater mast rake) 3. whether the rudders are racing type (long, narrow) and have been redrilled to allow them to tuck under the boat (ie balanced) 4. tramp condition.
