dingo Posted December 6, 2011 Report Share Posted December 6, 2011 After arriving at Albury Yacht Club with an old mk1 mari in bit's 'n bags (not been in the water for 10 years!) Rod arrived!! (pointed reply) to help me out of my misery with his wealth of knowledge - do this, do that, that is why you do this, this will help, try this! (whew!) I learned so much in this couple of hours now to make it work for me! Out on the open water with little wind most of the time it was fun! Next day in the races I realised I need to learn the process of a start, still fun & other racers need people like me to help someone else come first!
