I want some full length Quick Dry type material with vents in the under arm, and something similar for my pants (light and breezy) I was out the other week and got completely burnt, i need to cover up yet stay cool. Looking for somewhere to either order online or on the Gold Coast. ps- Im stil looking for a new Jib and Sail for my caper 14 cat.
knobblyoldjimbo
do you have an Amart sports store up there. I bought a full cover rash suit about two seasons ago - terrific for sailing in the sun, only place I have to watch for sunburn is my ears neck and face. Cost me $30. Alternatively have a look at pushbike gear you even get padding for the bum!

tonyquoll
Got my long-sleeve rashy from the local surf shop, Tathra Beach and Bike. Luckily for me it was autumn and all the gear was 50% off. It's not warm on its own, but keeps the sun off and makes the jacket more comfy on a moderate day. I also wear it when its cold, add a woolly jumper, then the jacket. As on-line suppliers go, I like Binks Marine in Adelaide. Their dinghy (off-the-beach) clothing range here: http://binksmarine.com.au/dinghy-clothing If I ever get sponsored, I wont mind if it's this mob opening a line of credit! For absolute budget gear, the local op-shop sometimes has rashies. Expect gastly colours.
