Dudman
My windrush 14 never filled up with water. About 4 weeks ago i ran into another boat and since than my boat has been filling up with about 5-6 litres in each hull every time i sail. I need to find out how to find where the water is getting in
stingray580
i normally tape over one bulkhead cover... if you have more than one per hull, put the other lid on properly. then cut a small hole in the tape and stick a vaccuum cleaner hose in that hole, switch the vaccuum cleaner to "blow" such that it creates a positive pressure in the hull. be careful not to put much in there.. and im talking at most about 2psi. then get some detergent and water in a spray bottle, start spraying around all over the hull.. start with any fittings or suspect places first, the air leaking should create bubbles in the detergent ao that you can identify them easier
