symo_007 Posted December 22, 2012 Report Share Posted December 22, 2012 Gday all, i'm looking at purchasing a caper cat after xmas and was just wondering what advice people have for keeping the old girl in good working order. I'm guessing keeping it clean / dry / polished / covered from sunlight is a start but is there any other areas to look after ? Would removing the beam caps and applying a light smear of grease once a year on the bolts be a good idea? Any advice greatly appreciated. regards, Andrew. DrSnapid Posted March 15, 2013 Report Share Posted March 15, 2013 When I got mine it had been neglected for nearly 20 years. I sanded the gelcoat, replaced the ruined tramp, and went sailing.
