exhogger
Bought some new tell tails to replace missing ones on the main and jib of the Mari. The packaging says to place them 20 - 30cm back from the luff on the jib but no distance from the luff on the main. Any advice for the main. knobblyoldjimbo
If I had two telltales for each side of the main I think I'd put them about 1/3 back at the 1/3 and 2/3 up from the foot (if that makes sense).
korwich
If you zoom in on this photo you can see where Marko puts tell tales when he makes a sail, if marko does'nt know where to put a tell tale, tell me somoeone who does. From that you should be able to approcimate the position of your telltales.
exhogger
Thanks for your replies and it does make sense KOJ. Looks like they are about 25-30 odd % of the total width from the luff.
