Beach Rollers Wanted

Hi all

New to forum, heap of good info.

I and looking for a set of beach rollers suit mari 4.3,(can modify) located shoalhaven area.

One of the guys at the Brass Monkey had got i) pair of wheels from Bunnings - remove the bearings inside and drill/file/remove the flanges.  ii) get ally tube to fit, make sure its thick enough to carry the load iii) get two T section sewer pipe fittings, cut the top off the T to make a cradle and put some sort of foam on iv) bolt the downpipe onto the cross tube.  Not sure how much the ally tube is but the wheels are about $30 each and the T's not too much.

 

Otherwise look on Gumtree, they come up from time to time.

 

They are rare as hen's teeth.

 

Alternatively if you only have a short distance to pull the boat, get a length of 4x2 treate pine and use it as a skid.
