QB2 Posted September 22, 2013 Report Share Posted September 22, 2013 have just bused spinnaker tape to cover batten pocket wear n tear from shroud contact, but wondering whether there is any other tape that is thicker and more suited, esp[ecialoly thicker and stickier, as the spinny tape is very thin. interested Posted September 27, 2013 Report Share Posted September 27, 2013 Had similar issues with batten pockets wearing thin (norm wear on stays)Sail pockets repaired on 4 battens for around $100 with white plastic stitched onto sailpocket.Fixed Batten prob and re-inforced sail so no prob with future wear on stays.
