CTMD
23kg will give you an underweight boat and freedom of ways to fit it out. The boats being built offshore were all at least 25kg and it is a struggle to get them down to weight. In order to do so you need to simplify and take light weight options where ever possible. If you are really concerned things to look at: Carbon rudders, stocks and cross barCarbon Tiller extension.Carbon daggerboards.Aluminium mast base.Mid tramp sheeting.Tapered lines.Fibre trap lines Switching to all these could save you about 1-1.5 kg and cost $2-3K which begs the question. Is it worth it?
Scuttlebutt
One bad tack makes up that difference, sounds like it will be pretty close to weight. Thanks
