September 2 race series Oct-07 McCrae cat classic to be confirmed Nov-07 Portland cat classic to be confirmed Dec-07 Colac Regatta(lake Colac or St.Leanards) to be confirmed Jan-07 Australia Day Regatta Altona Australia Day or closest weekend Mar-08 State titles Yarrawonga labour day 2008 Apr-08 Western region Easter regatta Easter 2008 An event at Frankston and Sugarloaf may be added 8 or 9 events 5 to count State titles have double points Also Eden in NSW for an interstate challenge Why do we not start at Hazelwood and discuss future events Traveller Series ’07-’08 The traveller series for Taipans and F-18s will start at Hazelwood and finish with a presentation at the Easter Regatta which at present will be at Lake Bullen Merri. There are no fees for this series. The results will be calculated using high point scoring system on a designated race during a regatta or the overall results based on all races sailed at regatta, (for example, 10 boats enter, the winner gets 11 points, last boat gets 1 point non participants 0 points). We hope to have prizes based on overall winner and handicap winner. At present the major prize is a new square top main donated by Goodall Sails. Thanks Greg. We are trying to get further sponsorship. The results will be based on V.Y.C yardstick except that the F-18s have a yardstick of 68 and Taipan 4.9's with kite 70.
