knobblyoldjimbo
I thought that Dart was an English phenomenum. You'd need to check availability of parts for them, nothing worse than putting coin down and then not being able to use what you've bought. At 63kgs I'd go for a Maricat. Cheap as chips and plentiful parts. Rodney can't weigh more than that and he is a premium racer dude. Even in heavier winds he's ok, bit slower than the heavier guys, excels in the light to medium stuff. Sails Cat and super sloop (on the wire). knobblyoldjimbo
Ah, OK Phil. In that case what about the Sprint 15 - looks quite nice and there were 47 boats for their nationals just recently: http://www.catsailingnews.com/2015/08/sprint-15-uk-nationals-2015.html#more It even looks like a Dart with that ungainly but effective keel like bustle at the back.
