The 2016 Queensland NACRA titles are to be held 25-28 March 2016 at Lake Cootharabah Sailing Club on the Noosa River.  The Lake is a fantastic place to sail with its flat water and consistent wind and located in a very family friendly environment.

There are many accommodation options including Camping at The Boreen Point Camping Grounds,  holiday houses are also available contact Boreen Point Real Estate bpre.net.au  ph 0439798 445.  The Lake is always a popular holiday destination at Easter, so early bookings for both camping and holiday accommodation is essential.

More information to follow.

Enclosed are the final results for the Qld State Titles

Sorry for the delay in posting these.  The club has some issues with their timing program over the course of the week end.

5 races completed of the planned 8 as the 3rd day of sailing was called off due to a band of storms moving over the course.

31 boats in total 11 x 5.8's (5 with square tops)  6 x 4.5's, 5 x 16 squares (3 sq tops) and the remainder of the fleet made up of 430's 350's 5.0 and 14 sq (square top and fast!)

More detailed results (with times) will be posted when the club resolves some issues with their timing program.

Thanks Nacra Queensland for a great state titles over Easter weekend, we had a ball. Putting out a challenge for ALL Nacra 5.0 owners to get motivated and get a fleet of 5.0's at the nationals in December at Lake Cootharaba. We will be there and need some other 5.0's to make a memorable event.  So if anyone knows of any 5.0's lying around give them a nudge or to contact me.
