REV YUKKA II Posted September 20, 2004 Report Share Posted September 20, 2004 can any body tell me the formular with the trape wires to set ones mast to the right rake for a nacra 5.8. i had mine good but just put on new stays which are all shorter and i've lost my start angle.i think i have it fairly close but would like to check it any help would be appreciated. nacra-maricat australia Posted September 20, 2004 Report Share Posted September 20, 2004 Hi If you take your trapeze wire to front bridal chainplate position,mark where the trapeze touches it,sometimes you will have to put a bit of rope on it as the trapeze will not reach. Then take that measurement to back of boat on the centreline ,it should measure around the hatch cover,some people have it a bit further back,depends on crew weight etc. Hope this helps.
