REV YUKKA II Posted January 13, 2006 Report Share Posted January 13, 2006 just got back from the nationals in south australia, and am glad to say we had a great time. wind in some of the races was very little, especialy the 1st race (i think we should have not even raced in that one) but other than that the week was a lot of fun. the club at victor harbour really made everyone feel at home with great meals and plenty of cold beer ( although we did drink the bar dry one night) the members that ran the social side of that club did a great job. thanks guys. all the competitors got on together really well and we found ourselfs out at a party every night. the grovner hotel made us feel like we where all locals and if you are ever in victor harbour make sure you drop into to snoze's pub for a great meal and a beer. the locals where are very friendly down there and everyone was happy to say g'day. the best part was being able to spend a week with some really top people and have some fun. i feel the whole week was sumed up by Tim from "painter & docker" when he said in his acceptence speach "THE BEST PART ABOUT THIS WHOLE WEEK IS THAT WE HAVE FELT LIKE WE HAVE BEEN WITH FAMILY" look forward to the next one REV YUKKA II Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
