warbird
I have a new to me 14 squared. It needs resewing at rear of tramp I am surprised to find I must dismast it and undo the bolts of the main bean to remove it. Am I missing something? xmatelot
hi lester, you should only need to remove the front beam bolts on one side only, slacken your sidestay, then you should be able to lift, (lever) up the main beam , undo the tramp lacing, slide the tramp forward, and then off to the side you have raised. If the tramp is tight you may have to let the hulls in together slightly, and after it is replaced, force them apart to refit the beam and bolts. hope this helps. pete
