Interceptor Posted February 4, 2010 Report Share Posted February 4, 2010 NOTICE OF RACE 1. The Lake Gympie Sailing Club will be hosting the 2010 Great Wood Duck. 2. Entries are limited to those people who entrusted Bucko to enter the Great Race without missing the cut off (ie. Morrie and Bucko). 3. The course will be the same as The Great Race followed by a six schooner event in the bar thereafter. 4. The starting sequence will be as follows:- "Ready, set, go!" 5. The last competitor to cross the finish line at RQ will be crowned "The Great Wood Duck" 6. A special prize will be awarded for the coolest hat. It is a shame it is on the same weekend as the Great Race, now they have to try and compete with such a high profile race such as the Great Wood Duck 2010. And the Lake Gympie sailing club will no longer be staging the race, the Northern Sunshine Coast Hinterland Yacht Squadron will host the event.
