mal gray
The proposed class rule changes to the Tiger are not yet approved. Any changes to the class have to be approved by the IHCA Council based on Rules committee recommendation which is based on sailor feedback. Once the council approves, then the rule changes have to be approved by ISAF because the Tiger is a full international class. The new spreader arrangement may get the nod. The self-tacker will most likely get the nod. The self tacker will be available as a kit for retro-fit to existing boats. There have been no special rules made for Aust Tigers nor should there ever be. If a Tiger owner wishes to sail Tiger class, the International Tiger Class rules apply. If they wish to just race F18 they are bound only by the international F128 rules. Mal Gray IHCA Rules Committee
