mgman
today being a holiday in Brisbane enabled me to take out my newly acquired hobie 14 to Lake Samsonvale. What a buzz.... Although with my poor technical effort I am glad no one was watching. I do however seem to have 2 problems with my humble boat. First there appears to be no kicking strap rigged . Is this vital or will the mainsheet suffice? Second I not able to get the rudders down to 90 degrees. They are currently about 75 degrees and I am thinking this was why there were a few dramas changing dirn. The rudder box has a clip for the rudders to lock into but something is stopping them going all the way down .. Any clues please. If not I am sure there will be plenty of help when I go out again Sunday. Thanks.
