gus Posted October 14, 2009 Report Share Posted October 14, 2009 Nacra 5.0 up for sale, Sail No 1871. This boat is probably not going to suit someone after a competitive race-boat for the Nationals. Rather I have used it as a fun fast cruising boat for family sailing. It can be sailed one up, and will still go OK with 3-4 people aboard. Designed for two-up trapeze. It is in good solid condition, having been gone through by the BCC a couple of years ago. At the time they replaced all the beam straps, the dolphin striker and side stays, fore stays and bridle wires. All still in good condition, was only used every month or two. Original set of sails in reasonable condition - many years left for social sailing. I have sailed this over to Moreton island several times with no concerns. Comes with two excellent trapeze harnesses (one barely used), good registered trailer with new wiring, rollers, fresh paint and good 14" tyres plus spare. Storage box and sail tubes.
