johno
I have recently put more mast rake in my 4.3 with the centre of effort further back i am having trouble getting the right rudder allignment. The main problem is a excess of weather helm. Can anyone give me some usefull tips? Eg percentage of toe in for the rudders or length of cross bar. shy thunder
toe in doesn't adjust weather helm... keep your ruddersin line with hulls/para. with about 1 to 5mm measured at bows of toe in seems fine others may have different opinions... to reduce weather helm you have to rake your rudders forward at their tips... see earlier post on this forum for advice etc I have refreshed earlier post to bring to top of column..also see Maricat website http://users.bigpond.net.au/graham_heap/index_maricat.html for tuning tips too... cheers d [This message has been edited by shy thunder (edited 23 November 2004).] [This message has been edited by shy thunder (edited 23 November 2004).]
