g_and_s_pearce@xtra.co.nz
Hi The centre bracket (of 5 ) which connect my main sail runner to the rear beam of our 4.3 M maricat has fatigued and broken at the right angle where it joins the rear beam .. is it feasible to fabricate a replacement yourself? If not where can your get a replacement .. I think this occurred because the road trailer has a vertical bar which abuts here and is used to suppport the mast and also to stop the boat falling bakward off the trailer ... if anyone has a second hand spare please let me know ... also when riviting it on what size rivets do you use ..I presume they need to be stainless Thanks Stephen
