Alan
I recently bought an old windrush 14 and I can't work out the main sheet arrangements. Can anyone help? A photo would be great.
MikeDean
Alan, What bits do you have for the main sheet system, ie what blocks? (Without this info its a bit hard to help you). NB: If you have two 3 way blocks, there is a rigging diagram just posted on the Maricat section of this site. regards Mike

mofo
G,day, I have an old windrush, the bottom ratchet lock is the same, however the top block has only 2 rollers with the last return on a becket. One will always cross obviously causing friction. Is this normal or has someone replaced the 3 wheel bullet block. It works as is but theres a fare amoung of friction. Is this normal. thanks MOFO
xmatelot
hi Mofo, if you look at the picture, you should be able to see that if you connect "5" to the becket ,(not running over the sheave to "6") you will be reducing friction, and should be OK. pete
Nacraholic
On my old Windrush (which now belongs to mike) i used to run 5 to 1 with the double w/becket at top and it never caused me any issues, the alternative is to just tie a figure of 8 on line 6 instead of coming back down to rachet block.
