bad_attitude
I am trying to find a class sailed one up that has strong competition and holds world titles, is recognized in major mulltihull regattas and will hold up to all conditions from the light flat days to the days when its hard to see the boats around you. Is there anyone out there that knows of such a boat? Is an A-Class any good?
mattaipan
Hi There A Class suits the bill by the looks of it, but to be competitive your looking at big bickies, you would have to buy new or very near new to compete at most levels, whether it be state, national or international. If you are looking to go new, you would almost have to go for a Geltec Flyer Mk2, www.ashbysails.com or The Tool, www.thetool.com.au. xmatelot
hi Sam, Any old boat can compete, but it won't be competetive. An A2 could be very competetive also. pete [This message has been edited by xmatelot (edited 26 April 2007).]
