The Paper Tiger Catamaran is probably the most popular of the small cats in Australia and New Zealand. Australian Championships regularly attract around 50 boats, while in NZ they get around 40 boats at their Nationals. Two years out of every three we hold an International Championships, currently alternating between Australia and New Zealand. The 2004 Internationals in Auckland, NZ had 47 competitors, 18 of which were from Australia. There are active fleets and State Championships in Victoria, NSW, South Australia, Tasmania and Queensland. With this level of support and popularity, I believe your sailing forum would provide an excellent opportunity for communication between this large group of sailors.
