Humpybong Yacht Club Promotional Day. Saturday 1st of September 2007.

Humpybong yacht club is nestled on the foreshore of Woody point on the Redcliffe peninsula. It is the home to off the beach dinghy and catamaran sailing for the local and greater community.

Humpybong Yacht Club offers sailing to all levels and we conduct racing on Bramble Bay every Sunday throughout to sailing season.

With the 2007/2008 sailing season fast approaching, the Humpybong Yacht Club is holding a promotional day on Saturday the 1st of September for all the family to enjoy.

Humpybong Yacht Club invites you and your family to join them. If you have any interest in learning to sail or if you just have an interest in sailing in general then Humpybong Yacht Club urges you to come along. Enjoy a free sausage from the barbecue and have a look at some of the sailing craft that members will be proudly displaying. Don't forget to bring your swimming gear as there will be an opportunity for you and your family to sample the thrill of sailing with some of our members.

Humpybong yacht club is proud to be a part of the Redcliffe community and will be staging the promotional day on Saturday, September 1. The official opening day to the racing season will be held on Sunday the 2nd of September.

The club is hosting 3 major this season along with the Diggers Memorial and of the regatta held over 2 weekends, Commencing on Sunday the 30th of September 2007 with the second weekend on Sunday the 28th of October 2007. The diggers Memorial regatta is held in memory of sailors of the Club, who did not return from the war.
