cycle_mad
Looking at buying one of two boats. Both Mk2s sail # 2872 cat rig (Multi coloured) & original sail # 3038 super sloop (White sail). Both same price. From what I can see in pics hulls & rigging look in ex cond and have had little use on 2872. How much would it cost me to set up a cat rig to super sloop? Unfortunately I'm on Mid North Coast, one is at Tweed Heads & other in ACT. Trying to decide which direction to go using pics as a guide. Pointed Reply
New jib $400, Furler and swivel $200, jib blocks $300, Sheet $50, Bridle $30, Saddles for deck $6 Umm.......buy the Super sloop. But check parts price from a boat shop catalogue To change from SS to cat you just need a forestay.
