becjm
How many people do you think you would get to a classic cat regatta? I'm new to the mozzie but I would love to race other simmilar cats. There seems to be bad feelings between Mozzie, cobra&hydras. Why not race them all togeather not mutch in yard stick sepperating them may boost numbers in all classes? Am I stupid or would this work? What are the main differences between the three and where do cobras & hydras race? Cheers Ben
Loose Change
No Ben, you aren't being stupid, the idea has merit. The downside is that all three classes are very fractured, it's not bad feeling. Hydras are swiftly being relegated to the extinct side of life and Mossies and Cobras are both MAINLY sailed in Vic and about a half dozen Cobras in Tas, but you can't count them as they can't really afford to attend too many events on the mainland. The Person to whom you should prbably put you ideas is Wild Toy (William). BTW nice pic of you at Palm Beach. Harry
wildtoy
If we can somehow find where at least the cobra cats are sailing in NSW Im sure we would be able to organise some type of organised race between the two/three classes. I know there are alot of cobra's down in Victoria but Im sure there are a few in NSW we just have to look.
