Jester
Can anybody tell me the differences between Nacra types.just picked up a 5.2 Nacra - 17ft i know that much!! But what is a 14sq and 16sq as opposed to a Nacra 5.2 (ie the wording?) I'm guessing sail area, is that right? Have been sailing cats for a number of years casually (mozzie, prinble and hobie), but have recently got the other half interested by buying a nacra, but not real sure of the different types. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks. Chris Nacra 5.2 2801 PS still have the prindle for sale- see under boats for sale!!! Ta

BarryK1200LT
Hi Jester, I had a 5.2 (2565) and it was a fantastic boat. My understanding is that the 5.2 is essentially the same hull design used in the 16sq, but the 16sq is 50mm shorter and doesn't run the jib. Don't know much about the 14 sq.
