korwich
We love to hear of Newbies, as you can't have too many people sailing a Mari. Dr Pete is the Victorian state cat rigged champ and I am sure he will be able to put you on the right path. Phil

Pointed Reply
Peter is also commodore of the yarrawonga sailing club. If you look at the thread about Vic maricaters you will find a few others. Albury and Yarrawonga have an interclub series. We had a dedicated cat weekend at albury/wodonga in December to encourage "newbies" and oldies to bring their boats along for help with set up and tuning tips. We will do it again next season. korwich
Pointed reply (Rod) is internationally recognised as the tuning guru for all things maricat for the southern regions of this great land. If he is to be holding a tuning clinic at a regatta, it would pay all Newb's to attend. One hour of Rod is worth 10 hours of catforum chit chat.
