Pointed Reply
The Sail Inland Regatta is on the weekend of the 17th 18th November at Albury Wodonga. Last year this was promoted as a "Cat Day". Any interest this year ?? PR is planning to be there.
Pointed Reply
NOR on the Albury Wodonga website. Rigging and tuning on Saturday with a "social" sail in the afternoon. Two races on Sunday. Hope to see a few cats there.
Pointed Reply
A mixed group of cats at Albury, Taipans, an A class, Hydra, PT, H16, Mari 4.0, NACRA 5.2, a couple of H14s and Pointed Reply. A mixed start on Saturday in a gentle (7-10k) breeze. The world champion International Canoe and a hot Taser took the honours. PR was the best of the cats. Saturday race 1 was a good breeze (10-15k) which was ideal for PR, Taipans crossed first but PR managed to beat the A class ! Race 2 was 15-20 with gusts to 30 from the west, which was not good for PR. The Taipans and A Class blasted away for a good win closely followed by the PT Watermelon. A good weekend, well run and supported, plenty of breeze......see you next year.
