tjsports2000
Sailling my hydra cat today with aprox 200kg crew weight in 15 knots the boat was having problems digging the hull in at speed. Has anyone tried fitting a wave deflector off a surf ski to stop the nose going under?
yarra bay
move to the back a bit you might find that a little better and those nose things dont work
bad dog
Yep, the balance of rig and crew will have far more effect. Can you rake the mast back further? Moving crew wight aft, especially on the wire, is very effective too, but still less than rig rake I reckon.
