kurt Posted February 4, 2014 Report Share Posted February 4, 2014 I sailed my maricat 5.0 for the first time last weekend and steering was particularly difficult. Lots of weather helm. I found the rudders not going down the whole way and a previous owner has moved the spot in the rudder where the down haul rope goes. I assume they did this to stop the rope sliding off the side of the blade. I will have these both fixed before the weekend but even pushing the rudders down they don't appear to tuck under enough.
