Guest aus177
Are any Tornadoes, Nacra 5.8's or 5.7 Taipans heading to Forster this year. Looking to see who will help me make up the F20 Open fleet and have some good fun racing against and plenty of drinking with. don dull 5.7 Taipan
John Dowling
Don I think you'll find plenty of A's there to give you a run - althuogh on recent form you'll have to carry the kite to be competitive! Maybe you can convince your mate on the 90's timber tri to go. AUS 824 - going to Forster
Guest aus177
190kg on board, no spinnaker and 5 knots of breeze, its enough to test anyones mantle. And to watch that legend mark adams lap the fleet on his 5.7. I was that far back I was sailing with the F18s (the slow ones) don

Guest aus177
only a lap behind mark!!!!
mal gray
Now I remember! That was the race which became a close reach on every leg including the first!!! Doesn't do much for spinnaker boats, when there are no downwinds. How did you like my tack (with the kite up) at the wing mark?
Guest aus177
actually if i recall, that was the bottom mark. and it is one of the funniest things i have seen at lake cootharaba. almost as funny a wassa parking himself ontop of the top mark last sunday. i am laughing so much my side is hurting. don
John Dowling
Donnie 190kg!!!!! What happened to the Mega Fatblaster plus plus program - that's more than a complete F18 weighs! It'll need to blow at Forster at this rate. Aus
Guest aus177
sailed the 5.7 cat rigged with spinnaker one up on sunday, after a disappointing morning result, line honours in the afternoon against two 5.7s one tiger that started 2 minutes early numerous A's, and 4.9 with spinnaker. forget fat blaster, i'm sailing one up from now on. (reason for disappointing am race - too much speader rake, philby and jen were double trapping and i couldn't get on the wire.)
