Phil
Could any one advise how easy it is for a fit person to dolly a Hobie 16 accross soft sand. Where I live there is no easy access to a boat ramp and I don't know anyone with a Hobie to ask. Thanks
Phil Palmer
Gday Phil, possibly depends on the amount of slope on the beach you're at, getting down will be no problem getting back up might be a bit difficult by yourself but with 2 people most beaches should be ok. We have a very steep section of beach at Mackay which is easiest with a zig zag approach. May have to lash the beach rollers to the boat if sand is very soft or the boat will slip on the pads. So where are you at Phil? are you social sailing or racing your 16? Cheers Phil Palmer
